  • That looks the same as the Hi-sense, that is a not a bad thing I have a Hi-sense 55in Roku TV and the quality is good.
  • Hisense has nothing to do with Westinghouse. Look the information up for yourself. I own a Sharp 55 inch which is made by Hisense. They also bought out Toshiba's TV division.
  • I have a Harmony remote, never been able to get it working with the Hi-sense, stuck in the model number of the TV above in it, and it works, well kind of. It still can't recognise the TV on the network, but it works using normal IR, so they must share some common hardware.
What does it matter? Hi-sense produce some great stuff. We used to produce good TV sets in the U.K, sadly that have now gone and the name Ferguson is now part of Cello Electronics, true they are still produced in the U.K., are now cheap and nasty. I never knew Sharp was now Hi-sense, but then I have not seen a sharp product for years in the U.K, this is the problem, it is difficult to know what you are buying. Take Breville for a start, in the U.s they produce good quality products, in the U.k, the name Breville refers to cheap kitchen products, they are not the same company.
My espresso machine is a Sage barista express, which goes under the name of Breville in the U.S.
You can get an espresso machine under the breville name in the u.K, but it is not that good. Got to watch out what you are buying these days.
  • We bought this TV from Best Buy for our father on sale for this price last summer. Good picture. Good sound. Convinced me to replace my FireStick 4K with a Roku Ultra for my TV.
