Have you ever tried Samsung's Good Lock?

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: we love Android!

One of the reasons why we love using the best Android phones is because of how we can customize them to make them our own. The popular and excellent series of Samsung Galaxy phones have their own way to personalize phones via the Galaxy Store and Samsung's own themes, but there is also the much underrated Good Lock app.

Samsung's Good Lock allows Galaxy owners to customize pretty much the entire experience of using a Galaxy phone, from the theme, to the way notifications are displayed, to how they interact with system apps and elements like Bixby (remember Bixby?). In fact, Samsung just added the ability to make more customizable Bixby Routines from Good Lock.

  • I use QuickStar, MultiStar, & Home Up
  • I use Home up, multiststar and lockstar from Good Lock.
  • I have never heard of it before, but I just went to the Galaxy Store to find it. Is it by "Good Lock Labs?"
  • https://galaxystore.samsung.com/detail/com.samsung.android.goodlock here you go!
  • One of the things I HATE about Android is the fact that you HAVE to do a lot of work to customize it just to make it usable. I shouldn't have to work that much. It should just already DO it. That's why I liked Windows phones so much. Anyway, I installed Good Lock. It's basically a plugin manager. I tried out a few of the plugins and, quite frankly, most of them are simply fluff---ugly looking fluff---and some of them look to add functionality I don't have a use for. After an hour of fiddling with it I uninstalled it.
  • What you hate about Android is what most of us love about it, it doesn't hold your hand, the whole point of Android is to customise your phone your way and not someone else's way like Windows Phone which was a horrible OS, worse that even iOS. And Good Lock is amazing with the tons of features and customisations which is on another level and has proven extremely useful to me.
  • Been using it since back when it look horrendous and was getting ton of bad reviews including this site. It's now more polished and functional than ever. So I highly recommend it to anyone using a galaxy device. Lots of customization, nice visuals and support. My personal favorite are Home Up and LockStar. It's packed with ton of features.
  • I love Good Lock. The only thing I hate is that whenever the newest OS is released each year, it breaks a bunch of features and then we have to wait 3 or 4 months for them to update to get things working properly. I wish they'd be more proactive and I'd be willing to pay for it.
