What's your favorite Moto G 2015 case?

That's a wrap on our top 10 best cases for the Moto G 2015. If you're currently protecting your new Moto G with a case we'd like to hear about it in the comments! As always, feel free to hit up our cases thread in the Moto G 2015 forums to join the discussion and see what others are talking about.

  • Tudia Merge hands down best TPU (fit/function). Moto G is fairly tough naked, so going full combat seems overkill for daily duties. It also keeps the thickness to a min, given the depth. Wish Diztronic would release a minimal bumper...another great TPU brand. Using these on our family of 1+
Also waiting on Poetic Affinity to be released, looks to be nice & minimal.
  • I've got a diztronic tpu case for the Moto G 2015 I reviewed that's going up in a couple days. Definitely a great slim cover. Posted via the Android Central App
  • I have the diztronic and mine does NOT fit properly leaving a gap between the back center of the phone and the corresponding area of the case. Id suggest avoiding this one. I might buy the cimo and try it. $8 or so isn't a lot of money, but still a waste. :(
  • I've heard quite a few complaints about the Tudia case not fitting quite like it should but my Ringke's fit is PERFECT. Sounds like you got lucky and have a good fitting one, which does seem quite rare.
  • Armor protection or nothing at all!!!!! Dam It Feels Good To Be A Google Gangster
  • Well I just love the Cruzerlite.... demo on the Nexus 5 here Posted via the Android Central App
  • I have got glowing silicon case for mine...
  • I do have the Ringke fusion (smoke) and I must say it's a pretty good case. It's a fingerprint magnet and the lids on the headphone jack and usb port are annoying but it protects and looks good Posted via the Android Central App
  • Sweet. I've tried the ringke Crystal and it's not bad. Didn't take long for the bumper to show yellowing though :-/ Posted via the Android Central App
  • I've had the smoke one for 6 weeks and my job gets my hands pretty yellowing here :)
  • Nice write up. I have the Ringke Fusion case with smoke sides instead of the clear. As someone else mentioned the port covers are a little annoying, but they can be cut off easily if not wanted. Overall I really like the case. It adds some much needed grip on the sides. Without the case I feel like the phone will slip right out of my hand, but with the case the feel is much better. I may have to pick up one of the other cases you reviewed here as a second option. Some times it is nice to switch things up. Posted via the Android Central App
  • So you read my XDA review :) Glad it helped you make your decision!
  • Is a case necessary on the moto g? I don't have one. My wife has the 2014 and I am on a LG g2. If something happens my plan is to get a moto g. I use cases on my phone but the appeal of the g to me is I can replace the back cover if it gets messed up. Is this accurate? Posted via the Android Central App
  • Yes you can remove the back. The back of mine is getting a bit dirty. I might try to clean it but I've been wanting to get some new back covers. I think they have the shell back cover case too. Flip cover case I mean. Used that on my OG moto G and that was all the case I needed. I've dropped my moto g3 a few times the bumper or frame is a little dinged up but screen is fine. I really wish you could change out the bumper like on the moto e lte. Really that would be an amazing phone to change the back shell cover and the bumper with the volume and power buttons. You could destroy the back and sides and just replace it or change colors. They should do that for the moto g 2016 or moto g4 of they keep making them Posted via the Android Central App
  • You canreplace the back, but I find the phone pretty slippery without a case.
  • Using a case with this phone seems excessive, in my opinion. If it was very slippery I would understand but even then... I have the HTC One_M8, one of the slippery ones and I only needed to cut a bit of a wet application plastic screen protector that I have here to put on the sides. This way I can still feel the metal in the back and it has much more grip.
  • I like using a case with this phone because it makes everything a bit thicker. The sides of the phone are too thin, which for me makes it hard to hold on to. With the case the sides are thicker giving me more surface to hold on too. Also the extra thickness on the back fills out the palm of my hand better. Posted via the Android Central App
  • NILLKIN FROSTED case :) is my favorite
  • The ringke does not come with a back film...only a front one. Also, you completely forgot to mention the awesome stencil to create your own backmdesign to display through the case...lazy editors get things wrong, not diligent ones. I even gave a FULL review of it on could have just copied my revieew and it would have been more accurate, but you obviously did exactly 0 research, so congratulations on you uber fuck up.
  • I've corrected the line about the extra protector, thanks. Keep in mind, this post isn't a sole review on the Ringke Crystal Case, but rather 10 of the best options for the Moto G 2015. We'll have a more in-depth piece on that particular case this week though, so don't worry — be happy :)
  • I got glowing silicon case for mine..
  • I have the Cruzerlite Hybrid (sold as Spartan on Amazon...?) and whilst it makes the phone far wider, taller and fatter it gives me the security knowing my phone is better protected.
  • Thanks for this review! Very helpful. Saved me time. I ordered one of the reviewed cases.
