Cyber Monday will have no shortage of big deals available once the event fully kicks off, but if you are looking for one thing to buy ahead of it, we have you covered. Amazon has already discounted a bunch of its hardware, including the Fire Tablet, and if you don't have one it's time to change that. Right now, you can grab the Fire 7 Tablet (opens in new tab) for as little as $29.99 at Amazon, thanks to the $20 discount. This brings the 16GB version of the tablet back down to its lowest price we've seen.

Cyber Monday is the best time to buy a discounted Amazon Fire Tablet

Amazon Fire Tablet

The whole lineup of Amazon's Fire Tablets are currently on sale, with prices starting at just $30 for the entry-level 7-inch model.

Normally, we recommend that people avoid buying "cheap tablets" on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but this is easily the one exception to the rule. Amazon offers a variety of sizes for the Fire Tablets, from 7 inches all the way up to 10 inches. We recommend the 7-inch version for most people, though. It offers a great combination of size, portability, specs, performance, and keeping the price point extremely low. While the internal storage is only 16GB on the most affordable model, you can easily add a microSD card (opens in new tab) to gain extra storage for while on the go.

With the Fire Tablet you have access to Amazon's App Store, which has a variety of its own games, apps, and more. You can download streaming apps like Hulu, Prime Video, Disney+ (opens in new tab), and more. It may not be the most powerful tablet on the market, but it is great for casual gaming for yourself or your kids, as well as web browsing, social media usage, and more.

If you need something a bit more powerful with better internal specs, you can opt to upgrade to the Fire HD 10 (opens in new tab), which is now on sale for $100. It was recently upgraded and now includes a more powerful processor, USB-C charging, and more.

The 2019 Fire HD 10 was only released last month so this is the first major sale on it. Don't miss your chance to score $50 off it in the color or capacity of your choice.
Jared started off writing about mobile phones back when BlackBerry ruled the market, and Windows Mobile was kinda cool. Now, with a family, mortgage and other responsibilities he has no choice but to look for the best deals, and he's here to share them with you.

  • You're right, I definitely should grab one for myself!
  • Paid advertisement I presume.
  • You mean that a tablet worth specs of a 2010 snartphone is for $30? Sounds not right
  • Buying one of these tablets at anytime means your doing it wrong.
  • Nah. Very sweet deals. You don't need an iPad pro to watch videos. When you can buy three tablets for under a hundred.... That's a pretty good choice.
  • Hello just wanted to comment on fire tablets . I currently own a Apple iPad pro. Not comfortable with taking it out with me so when I saw the price of 100 for the 10 inch also has some improvements from prior model. I bought 32 gb added a 64 GB memory card. Wowza! What a deal. Very impressed with this 100 fire tablet great as media consumption device . Have movies , tv shows , books , ( comic book collection) graphic novels. Works flawlessly. Haven't had any hiccups. May not be as powerful or snappy as my iPad but let's not forget a 100. Bright colorful and responds really well. I think most people will feel like wow what a great device for that price. I even downloaded Google play store on it. So I'm able to download many of the Google apps without a problem. I even get there updates. Give yourself a treat pick one up for yourself or as a gift.
  • ^^this guy gets it.
