Given the state of Galaxy S III pre-release rumors, we're inclined to take this kind of thing with a pinch of salt. However, the latest leaked internal screen obtained by MobileSyrup indicates that Canadians may not have long to wait for Samsung's next big thing. The screen, which appears to show an ad for the phone on some of the leading Canadian carriers, suggests that the launch date may be June 20. However, it's worth remembering that even if this date is accurate now, plans can change, especially when you're coordinating a massive device launch across multiple networks.

What we know for certain is that the Galaxy S III will launch on all the major Canadian networks "this summer," and that it'll pack 4G LTE connectivity where available.

However things pan out in Canada, the Galaxy S III is due to launch in Europe next Wednesday, May 30. A U.S. launch is expected sometime in June. Want more Galaxy S III? Our wealth of launch day reports should have you covered.

Leaked screenshot points to possible June 20 Galaxy S III launch in Canada

Zzzzzzzz....I'm still waiting for my Galaxy SII Epic 4g Touch (God that's even annoying to type) to get it's ICS update. It's seems like Samsung it's sooooo slow about getting devices updated. I'm an little leery about jumping into another Samsung phone, no matter how tempted I'm am.

I might have to look back at HTC this next time around

The EVO 3D hasn't gotten it's ICS update either so I don't see how that shows Samsung is slower when the 3D has been out longer. The Epic Touch will also get updated to the latest build(4.0.4), while the EVO LTE isn't even on the latest 4.0.4 build.

If you frequent a site like android central, chances are you know easily where to get the proper information. So if having your phone run ICS is of any slight inportance to you, why would you wait for sprint to update your phone?

It's not Samsung, it's Sprint. If you visit XDA, there's a thread where all the leaks that Sprint is testing. It's only a matter of time.

I don't know how reliable it is but I've heard a rumor that due to high demand on the Qualcomm chip that is going in the VZW version for LTE reasons it could be as late as December. I am hoping that AT&T does the same thing it did with the SGS2 in that they release one very similar to the international version with the Exynos quad core and then an LTE version later like the Skyrocket. If they only release a Qualcomm dual core LTE version then I am probably not upgrading this year. was asked to remove the image that is being used here. So could mean that the launch will happen on June 20th.
