  • The Moto X Style 32GB variant costs $450 in the US.
£399 is like $615. I won't buy a Moto X in Europe, no sir. The LG G4 is a much better option right now. Much cheaper and with a better camera. And if you don't like LG's customization of Android, better wait for the new Nexus 5 or Nexus 6.
  • This won't be the first or last device where the UK advertised price is at a £1 to $1 rate and I've sort of come to expect it. One thing to bare in mind is that VAT is added on top of the US price while it is included in the UK price. Our VAT is also 20% while I think it is typically below or 10% in the states. So if you subtract 20% tax and downgrade the memory (subtract $50) the UK price is £299.89 compared to a converted US price of £260.21. Yes it is more and there maybe other factors like import duties, exchange rate flucation, and operating costs for the smaller market that I have not considered but in general it is not as bad as it first looks. • Getting a bit fed up with the massively inflated prices here. You're right, a $200 difference is taking the piss Posted via the Android Central App
  • Just a heads up, but if you use the code UKWELCOME10 at the checkout you get £10 off Posted via Android Central App
  • The problem this time is, while all media articles/reviews were praising the good value of the phone and mentioning the 350ish price mark, Motorola did not make it clear on the price. After enjoying the positive media coverage, Motorola suddenly revealed the hiked-up price. I'm sure many users would be put off by this price.
Now let's see what the new Nexus 6 offer on 29th.
  • Disappointed with the colour choices of the trim. Really wanted orange with black front and black leather back. Also a lot of reports stating too large that's the thing I'm most nervous about with this phone coming from the N5. Looking forward to Nexus details when launched if price is right, which with the reported manufacturers could be back to budget prices. Posted via the Android Central App
