Google Now tracks flight prices so you don't have to

Interested in going on that ultimate getaway, but flight prices a bit too steep? You no longer need to constantly check fares on a daily basis, as Google is now offering a Google Now alert that notifies you of any changes in the flight prices. Flight information is tracked based on your recent searches on Google Flights.

For now, it looks like the ability to track fares is limited to Google Flights. We're not sure as to when this feature started rolling out, or if Google will begin tracking fares from other travel booking sites in the future. We'll let you know once we find out.

Any of you seeing this card on Google Now?

  • One day Google Now will be slightly more useful than useless in the UK. Posted via Android Central App
  • Since it doesn't access southwest flights among other airlines it's pretty useless Posted via Android Central App
  • Well I've never used Google flight before, so I just went a took a look. I found several round trip options from Charlotte, NC to Kauai for $688. And since Southwest doesn't even fly to any of the Hawaiian islands, it seems darn useful to me.
  • This is awesome!!!
