White Galaxy S II

British networks O2, Orange, Three and Vodafone are now listing the sleek white version of Samsung's Galaxy S II on their "coming soon" pages, with a September release planned across all four networks. This fits with Samsung's plans for of the SIM-free white Galaxy S II, which is due to begin shipping from Sep. 1. T-Mobile UK is the only major network not yet listing the white version, but given its connections to Orange, we'd expect TMo to carry it alongside the currently-stocked black version.

So what's the verdict, would-be Galaxy S II owners? Buy the black model now, or wait a month, save a few more pennies and opt for the white version?

White SII? Apple will sue. No one is allowed to make a white touch screen candy bar. That violates Apple Patents. What they should do is make it thinner with a keyboard, that way, Apple can't sue. You could type on the screen if you like, or with the keyboard if you choose. That would foil Apple.

Yeah, you're right. I'm sure Samsung's developers imagined both both black and white versions of their mobile touch devices long before Apple came out with theirs.

my Upgrades ready end of october, I'm wondering if anything better than this will come out before then... if not I think I'll be getting this! damn sexy piece of hardware!

I suspected from the leaked Sprint post yesterday that we'd be seeing a black and white in the US, too. Why else would they list the Epic Touch once with a white and a second time with a black background?

Amazing how we keep hearing of Galaxy S news worldwide but hardly anything of a U.S release. Why are you torturing us!?!?

Is it just me or does anyone else think that anything other than black draws attention away from the screen when looking at it? I can't ever see myself getting a white device.

How about some other colors, hey Samsung? Metallic Silver and blue perhaps.

Now what about the 32GB version, when's that coming out?
