White Droids

Following some recent (and not-so-recent) leakage, the Motorola Droid Ultra and Droid Mini have appeared in white on Verizon's online store. Nothing has changed besides the color of the phones' exterior — you're still basically looking at a Moto X-class device in a different form factor with added "Droid" branding from Verizon. The phones' prices are also unchanged — the Ultra is $99.99 on a two-year plan, $449.99 outright or $18.97 on Verizon Edge, while the Mini remains $49.99 on-contract, $399.99 outright or $16.81 on Edge.

Who cares about Verizon's fugly Droid phones with all they're bloat ware, disgusting carrier branding and delayed / nonexistent OS updates?

Hey estaban, who is your carrier? For some reason people that like to hate on Verizon are those who can't afford it and are mad as hell, Big red is the best and this is coming from someone who had them all.

I've been a customer of big red for a long time. I tried them all. Verizon gives the best service, bar none. My beef with them lately is that our local company store might as well be an Apple store. Every display screams Apple. Now they're copying iPhone with a white (which I find fugly) Droid. SFW! Big effing news! I no longer go in this store, located less than a mile from my home, unless I am forced to out of necessity, because I have no interest in Apple's rubbish iPhone or iPad.

That's weird to me considering sales reps make more commission off of android phones than apple by a long shot
