Google Maps may be running my navigation, but Waze is sitting in the forefront to show cops and construction.

Yes, thankfully. I was about to turn off Google maps yesterday when I was an hour from home because I didn't need it anymore. But I'm glad I left it on because there was traffic ahead and it suggested an alternate route that saved me 30 minutes. It will suggest a route if it will save you time and you can accept or decline the change.
