Goddammit Sony! Quit with this 16GB nonsense for these "flagship" devices! I like your products but storage plays a role in my deciding factor. Give me 32GB with LTE and we'll just call my money yours.

I agree with the memory.

I agree. I'm sticking with my Nexus 7 32GB LTE until someone gets their head out of their ass and gives me this with better internals. Hopefully HTC's Nexus will cover all of the bases.

I sold my Nexus 7 (2013) LTE last night because I've owned it for nearly a year and it hasn't aged well. (It went through a broken screen repair and never was the same again.) I am afraid the new HTC-made Nexus will be too big for my taste. I just don't get why an unlocked LTE tablet with current specs and decent storage is so problematic. I'm obviously not alone here.

Ugh..... Yes I agree. What the hell is Sony doing. They want top dollar for their devices but they insist storage isn't necessary.

I just don't get it. Pennies for Sony to start with 32gb of storage. Charge another 20 bucks to the consumer.

Oh and btw my 3 year old Xoom came with 32gb plus SD.

Unfortunately, there is the same issue with every other Android tablet under 10" (AFAIK), except for the Nexus 7 which isn't really high-end anyway. Even the ones that are announced as having 32gb (like the Tab Pro/S) don't actually get released.

Did anyone else notice the phone icon in the dock in the render image? Maybe this will be like the Galaxy Note 8 in the EU that you can throw a SIM into and make calls? I don't think people should be holding up a tablet up to their head to make phone calls but this could be useful for some (maybe business reps) that would rather carry a tablet and a Bluetooth earpiece than a tablet and a phone.

I really wish Sony would update their UI. Otherwise, the specs are great.

I might be getting this solely for the remote play functionality. I have an iPad mini retina, probably just sell that and pick this up. Full ps4 games on an 8" tablet...Yes please!
