Nexus 7

The leaks just keep coming. Four days shy of seeing a whole bunch of Android goodies at a Google event in New York, the folks over at MoDaCo have found what looks to be potential pricing information on the 3G model of the Nexus 7 from a Latvian retailer. We're looking at conversions between different currencies (so take this with a grain of salt), but what the pages show are prices of about £199 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model, and about £249 for the 3G model, which also happens to be listed as having 32GB of storage.

Those would be some pretty compelling price points if they turn out to be real. All we know for sure is we're in for a treat on October 29th when Google makes everything official.

Potential 32GB 3G Nexus 7 price leaks out

Just did a google search. You're right, but then £199 for the 16gb wifi only comes out to $320 which makes no sense because its already currently at $250.

£199 is with tax about 17%(i read it somewhere not sure)
$250 is without tax.

so £199- £34 =£165= $265

We put the prices in GBP there because it's hard to know what the USD price would be. You can't do a simple Google currency conversion. Not only do different countries in Europe charge a VAT (Value Added Tax) on the tune of about 20%, manufacturers also just price things differently in the UK than they do in the US.

$400 is NOT compelling...

...well... not now that I've already spent money on a WiFi only Nexus 7, especially since the 3G version would have been my ONLY choice had I had reason to suspect it would be an option at any point.

I've said it before I'll say again. Google, this feels underhanded and kinda cheaty.

Relax, there's no way that they're going to charge more. $199.99 for the 16GB, $249.99 for the 32GB. I say the 32GB with 3G goes for $299.99 tops, if it's even a separate SKU. Who knows, maybe the 32GB version is also the 3G version. I guess we'll find out Monday!

Yeah there's absolutely no way to really know the price yet but I seriously doubt that Google would charge $400.

Remove the tax from that price and it's more like $334. Then take away $15-$20 off that as things are simply more expensive over here and you have something like $320.

They still need quality Tablet specific application for key things. Offer that on 3G at a good price and I would get one tomorrow. For the moment my TF300T does what I need.
