Evernote send to note  Evernote widget

Evernote has updated their excellent Android application to include a widget (pictured), the 'send to Evernote function' (also pictured), pinch zooming within a note, note caching, and a slew of performance tweaks and bug fixes.  For those who don't know, Evernote is a cross platform note application with great clients on both mobile and desktop operating systems.  We've talked about Evernote a bit before, and you Android Central Podcast listeners know how much Mickey and I enjoy it.  This update makes an already great Android application even better.  Evernote users, check for the update in the Market, and those who want to check it out for the first time can get the download details after the break.  [Evernote Blog via @Sethjk on Twitter]

Really useful update. Widget is ideal for quick grabbing notes and pinch to zoom is a huge improvement. Think they need to improve their main page and give access to already created notes rather than via menu but it is an impressive move in the right direction.

I've really appreciated having the app. I'm fairly recently divorced and have an ex who is frequently creating problems for me. I started keeping track of those things with Evernote and it's made things go much better when we've had to go to court because I've got easy access to all my notes which were easily made before things slipped my mind or were not as accurate. Like it a lot!

What is that Gmail icon showing 2 unread mail called? I've been looking for something like that. Where can I get it? EDIT: NM, found at http://www.appbrain.com/app/se.alexanderblom.gmailunreadcount

Use Evernote all the time. If you update this program, you must reboot the phone for the program to work. Old links become non-functional

Dumb question - the buttons at the bottom of the screen - custom launcher? Which one?

Can we FINALLY edit notes with this thing? I love Evernote but it's fairly useless to me if I can't edit anything.
