Wileyfox is a new smartphone manufacturer based in London. The company offers highly customizable smartphones to consumers, by looking to keep costs low, keep a smaller workforce and not having legacy devices to support. Current CEO, Nick Muir, was a former general manager for Motorola UK.
The first two smartphones from Wileyfox were the Storm and Swift, two Android-based smartphones. Both smartphones launched running Cyanogen OS, which is based on Android, but offers some customization. The Wileyfox Swift was released on October 17, with the Storm following closely behind on October 28. Wileyfox also offers a two-year warranty on its smartphones, which is double what other manufacturers are offering currently.
