How to disable Digital Wellbeing on your Pixel phone

Digital Wellbeing is a great tool baked into Google's Pixel phones to help you keep track of your phone usage throughout the day. However, whether you simply don't use the feature enough to keep it turned on or want to see if disabling it will help make your phone faster (which some claim it does), here's a step-by-step guide on how to do just that.

How to turn off Digital Wellbeing on your Pixel phone

  1. Go to your phone's Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Digital Wellbeing.
  3. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
  4. Tap Turn off usage access.

  2. Tap Digital Wellbeing.
  3. Tap the toggle next to Permit usage access.

With all of that done, you've now completely turned off Digital Wellbeing on your Pixel phone. Should you ever want to re-enable it, simply refollow the steps above.
