After being announced all the way back in October 2019, Google finally launched its new Pixel Buds on April 27. While no one likes a long delay, the wait has been well, well worth it.

Andrew published his review of the Pixel Buds yesterday, praising them for the excellent design, great audio and call quality, and wireless charging support for the included case.

Taking a look through the AC forums, it would appear that a lot of our members are quite interested in the new earbuds, too.

Finally the new Pixel buds are available. As of now only in white, at least in the US. Ordered them to add to my collection of million other wireless buds Delivering via free shipping May 1-4. Overall reviews that were released today have been mostly positive. Happy to see some Google product finally getting some love and not hate lol ...

Nice! I am considering buying a pair. I have the USB-C Pixel Buds now, which work great. But a Bluetooth set would be nice to have.

I have joined the waiting list as it isn't available in the UK yet.

I wanted the black ones however since I can't stand waiting I've ordered the white ones. I'm hoping for a good fit that will work while running or working out.

  • I will definitely be getting these. Been wanting a solid pair of wireless earbuds and since I have a Pixel it made sense just to wait for the pixel buds. The white color is the color I had on my waiting list so I'm good with that.
  • I really wanted these to be able to connect to two devices at once and have solid battery life. The other thing was I wanted good microphone quality for all the conference calls. It looks like the Jabra Elite 75t will be the way to go. Everything else about the Pixel buds look awesome though and would prefer the full Google experience.
  • I purchased the Jabra Elite 75T a week ago and I love them. The new pixel buds looks great, however I'll be keeping what I have.
  • Too late. Already got the galaxy buds. They sound better, look better, have better battery life and are cheaper.
  • Absolutely. But why buy now? Google's hardware tends to get discounted pretty early. May as well wait a few months.
  • The instock email woke me from my slumber last night at 12:11am last night. I really wanted orange but figured these were gonna be a hot seller so i just decided to buy the white... im glad i did as they are already back to a waiting list status... Mine says arrives may 6 to 7 with the free shipping hoping it ships on Wednesday and i have by the weekend i really want to test the translate feature...
  • I never got my notification had to find out via YouTube they released
Decided to go with Jabra 75t Active which as long as it supports translate I think they will be great.
  • Was going to but wasn't overly impressed with the reviews.
While most reviews were overall positive the positives and negatives were all over the place which didn't sit well with me.
I also don't like the lack of IP rating or the open air vent
