Samsung Galaxy W

British carrier Three got some hands-on time with the Samsung Galaxy W, one of the new mid-range offerings announced by Sammy earlier today. It looks like a solid mid-range device, with a 3.7-inch SLCD display, 1.4 GHz single-core CPU and TouchWiz 4.0 on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The Samsung Galaxy W will be "coming soon" to Three, though no release date or pricing info is available just yet. Join us after the jump for the video, which offers a closer look at the Galaxy W's hardware.

"If you're looking for a smart phone with a great screen, a great camera, and blazingly fast speed, the Galaxy W is the phone for you." You're sure? :D

This could be a good compromise for those who don't want to carry a 4.3" monster about everywhere. I have been sitting on my upgrade for weeks pondering what to do. I like the size of my Desire and there is nothing similar size with upgrading to at present. Was set on a Sensation but holding out for a good deal is leading me to maybe wait another while until the next crop of handsets arrive.

It's weird seeing the post say "mid-range phone" at 1.4 GHz single-core. What's that make my Samsung Epic then? :( lol
