T-Mobile myTouch 4G

There's the T-Mobile myTouch 4G, and it's officially available in stores today. But if you pick one up, you're not going to be able to crow that you have the first T-Mobile 4G phone. No, those bragging rights now go to the G2, now that T-Mobile's officially dubbed its HSPA+ data as 4G. But no matter. If it's speed you want, it's speed you'll get. And you'll get it in four colors, for a cool $199 after contract and rebate. [T-Mobile]

So its 4g cause we said so? I see a fight brewing. Sprint wont take this lying down.

How??? Sprint doesn't have a true 4G network and they call their's a 4G network... not even when they turn on LTE.

enzofall says:

"4g" is just a buzz word for faster speeds. Real 4g speeds are not available unless you know a carrier t
that's pumping 1gb per second.

There is NO 4G today and there won't be for years to come. If you don't understand that it is just a marketing term for "4th generation" you are just trying to be a nit picking nerd. Sprint is even further from "4G" yet nobody is saying anything about them using the term??
