Although the LG G-Slate and Samsung Galaxy S 4G took most of the praise for the T-Mobile announcements today, buried within those press releases was information about the latest areas that T-Mobile has enabled for HSPA+ service:

  • Albany, Augusta, Columbus and Macon, GA
  • Chattanooga, TN
  • Champaign, IL
  • Lansing, MI
  • Rochester, MN

Have all been added to already existing and growing line up of HSPA+ enabled areas. Enjoy your new high speed mobile data folks. [T-Mobile]

T-Mobile flips the switch on more HSPA+ areas

First! and they should actually call it the Galaxy S 3.9 G! Because this hspa+ bs is 3G with nitrous. IMO LOL.

I'd rather hear about T-Mobile expanding their 3G network to provide a larger area for their 4G since my home area is still EDGE at best.

AGREED! Every other carrier has 3G here except for T-Mobile. They have EDGE. Don't get me wrong I have full bars everywhere I go but it is still EDGE and SLOW. It should be called SLOW not EDGE. AT&T barely, I think, last week, put 3G here. I would switch but my Nexus S is worth it.

I guess I'm just not sure how their "4G" network is any bigger than AT&Ts network. I know AT&T has a ways to go, but look at that map. Seriously.
