Sony Xperia M2

The Sony Xperia M2 has been announced in Canada for Rogers and its prepaid cousin, Fido, and it's coming by the end of May.

The M2 is basically a mid-range version of the Xperia Z2, which means you're looking at a 960 x 540 4.8-inch display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, and an 8 megapixel Exmor camera. You can get a feel for the Sony Xperia M2 through our hands-on at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, or our full-blown M2 review.

The Xperia M2 will be hitting Rogers and Fido this month, and though there's no word on pricing just yet. Expect it to be at least a little bit cheaper than the top-of-the-line stuff, though. Keep an eye on the Rogers online store for it to go live. Any takers?

Sony Xperia M2 launching in Canada on Rogers and Fido this month

again let down by the resolution of the screen. When people have started looking for 1080p in 4.3" screen sony releases 4.8" with 960X540. wow!!!!!!!!
Yes I agree that mid range budget phones with mediocre specs need to be there for a particular segment of market. But why OEMs are spamming the market with such models again.

Thank you :p someone else that agrees.
1080p high end...720p mid range... and 540 for entry level. Is what I think it should be standard
