Poster has a point, there is only so much internet newsprint to use and once it's gone, it's gone!

This is super old news. Droid-Life talked about this like two months ago. This site is getting dumb, full of ad's, Phil always have something stuck up his butt and complaining to no end. Podcast isn't even that great, you should check out real insight at Androidactivist.org

Maybe this is old news, but it also isn't super important news. With everything that has happened in the Android ecosystem, I am glad that Phil was reporting on Ice Cream Sandwich, Galaxy Nexus, Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, and all the other new devices, etc, etc. If you think the greatest Android site on the net is no good anymore, maybe you should move along.

I agree with everything you said except the last sentence. The Android universe is gigantic, bills need paid, and Phil has been doing his job (very well) for a long time.

The good things this site offers EASILY outweigh the bad.

GPA19 runs great - thanks again Pete!! If it wasn't for you I just might have left the platform altogether.

Agreed with everyone that this is really old news. However, I will say that it's a great ROM for the OG, despite not having a heckofalot of extra features. I guess that's the whole point of being vanilla. I'm currently running CM7.1 for something different, but might switch back for some more GPA goodness.

Where is this "source link" he speaks of? I have a friend who would love this on his OG Droid, I'll gladly flash it for him, but not finding the actual link seems to be a recurring thing on many of these sites. Can you not simply put an inline link in to make it easy? Like clear HERE to download....

On who's name? I clicked the writers name and it took me to a blank page, I click the big logo and it just takes me to a bigger picture of it.

Where did all the illiterate trolls in the comments come from? It's already been acknowledged in the article that it's old news.

" Released last month this ROM..."
