AT&T Pantech Magnus

Frequent leak source for reliable press shots evleaks is showing off an upcoming AT&T device from Pantech, the "Magnus" (which we presume is a codename). The device, going by the model P9090, bares an uncanny resemblance to the previously announced Pantech Flex, which recently hit AT&T in September. The device looks to be running at least Android 4.0, considering the launcher style and signature on-screen navigation keys, but we'd sure like if that was actually 4.1 Jelly Bean under the hood.

Considering that this device is hitting the same carrier with a similar design, we can make a guess that its either a successor to the Flex that's just early in the pipeline, or possibly a higher-end version of the same device line.

I kind of like the way it looks. Small bezel, sort of looks like a Moto design with less rectangle.

I LOVE the small bezels on the top/bottom. so many phones have them so big they're just silly. This is perfect.

I'm not gonna lie, I have a secret (well not so secret now) love for Pantech's more recent devices. The Flex is a fantastic device and this looks like it won't disappoint either. I'll probably pick this up if the price is right to add to my arsenal of devices.

I went from a ION to a Flex. Great little device that hasn't given me any problems. Pantech should definitely work on getting their skin a little bit more coherent style wise, though. But you can almost make the phone look stock with using any of the ICS launchers and changing the lock screen to the stock slider through the setting menu.
