Nexus charger

New Nexus-branded Qi charger selling for £34.99

Alongside that new white Nexus 7, UK buyers can today pick up the official Nexus wireless charger, priced at £34.99 and shipping in 1-2 business days. It operates using the Qi (pronounced "chee") wireless charging standard and is designed to work with the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 5 — though if you've got other Qi-supporting gadgets they should work too.

Here's what our own Phil Nickinson had to say after a brief time with the inductive charging plate —

"The charger itself is stylish enough to keep out when you're not actually charging something, though the glossy face (with the Nexus logo subtly peeking through) does attract fingerprints like nobody's business. And as an added bonus, it works through the official Nexus cases as well. And it's way better than the much-maligned Nexus 4 Wireless Charger. You can get Qi-compatible chargers for cheaper, we suppose. But this one says Nexus. So you know it's good."

Pick it up at the Google Play link above, or check out our full review for more on the charger.

I saw this earlier, went to order one and then saw they were charging £11 for delivery, that's 1/3 of the price of the item! So no sale.
Google really do shoot themselves in the foot sometimes.

Its not like its even next day before 9am either its normally a couple of business days.

I've ordered 2 nexus 4's, nexus 7, nexus 5 and NEVER once had it 'next day' regardless of what time it's ordered.

Their refund procedure is shocking too. 'Up to 21 business days' which to you and I translates to 'IT WILL BE 21 Business days'

I ordered a Nexus 7 back in 2012 and i got it the next day, twice this year i ordered a replacement and both times it arrived at 9am precisely next day.

I totally agree. Here in Germany it costs 39,99€ and the shipping fee is 10,99€, that's outrageous! More incredible was to put the Nexus 7 (currently with free delivery) also on the cart... the 10,99€ were also charged!
No sale here too.

Canadian Delivery - 10.99$ .... Wow.. with tax $63.48 Cdn total.

I'll stay with my TyLT Vu that I kickstarter sponsored for about that amount.

I don't think this charger uses the Qi standard, there's no mention of it on the product page, and I've read a few reports of people with Qi devices being unable to charge them with this charger.

Please look into this some more before spreading false information.

The total price is actually £45.98 with shipping at £10 and VAT of £7.66. Was quite excited when I read your banner headline - then disappointed when I went to order.

The reviews I've read say that it's an excellent product. Just have to save a bit more!

I really wanted one of these.. but with postage that expensive I'll give it a miss.

Same here, I'll wait to see if it appears on Amazon as they usually have free shipping.

And for that high price and shipping cost, there isn't even a power adapter for Germany included in the German version! That has to be a bad joke...
