LG G2X

The LG G2X will be available on T-Mobile store shelves when stores open today.  The G2X has been a web exclusive for the past few days, but if you're the type who needs to hold a phone in your hands before you fork over $200 and two years, today is your day.  A Tegra 2, front facing camera, 4 inch screen, and stock Android 2.2 make this phone quite attractive to many (including yours truly) so we're all expecting big things from this one.  You'll find the G2X forums are a great place to share thoughts, ideas, and even problems with LG's latest offering.  I'll see you there!

I get this feeling that Verizon will be the last to get a dual-core beast of a phone, behind everyone else! : (

Yeah pretty much all phones resemble one another, which is pretty much common knowledge, get my point?

Sprints getting a better phone anyways, with a better screen. So I dont care that sprint isnt getting this, but it would be nice if the 3d evo was pushed out this fast.

"Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple's technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products"

F2 "Samsung" Replace with "LG"

bahaha. might as well sue T-Mobile while they're at it. silly jobs.

on a side note, phone looks good.

Anyone know if you can buy off contract from T-Mobile? It didn't look like it online. I just want to swap out my N1 and keep my current no contract plan...

Thanks,

wonder if i should ditch my evo(no contract) and get this. im sick of waiting on a date for the nexus s 4g and the evo 3d isnt even a contender for me.(its ugly)

Xperia play has a unlocked bootloader tho that Sony Ericsson supports that gona be hard to find in a phone I would give up my thunderbolt for a arc tho that phone is sexy unlike the sex play lol

If I'm not mistaken Sony ericcson said they would only unlock the bootloader on phones that were bought sim-unlocked. So that would rule out the Verizon xperia play

Besides the production delay because of Japan's earthquake very little has been said about Verizon's Xperia Play.I do wish this were coming to VZW instead of the Revolution. It would be so nice to have some Vanilla Android options.

Phone looks good. The design decisions that I don't understand are:
1. Metal strip in back looks like it should be a kick stand or belt clip.
2. The panel for the capacitive buttons is too big. An inch is way too much. Makes the phone look low cost and a knock-off

I also agree with everyone that doesn't understand why LG didn't release the phone with 2.3. I had the Nexus S and the G2. I much preferred 2.3 to 2.2 in a vanilla experience.

Got mine but I'm having reception problems at work real bad.
Worst TMO phone so far as far as reception at my work.
All tech support did was have me install a new sim.]

I bought this off contract and if this issue persists
TMO will be getting it back.
I didnt care for the Galaxy S 4G but it gets way better reception.

:(
