As reported before, the Android-powered Archos 7 Home Tablet isn't the most powerful device in its category, however, it's shaping up as a great value for what it can offer. I suppose Dell, HTC and Google are talking about the devices you want but Archos isn't like them, oh no, they are allowing you to pre-order this tablet for the budget friendly price of $199.99 over at Amazon. I wouldn't get upset over the reported spec of 13-plus-pounds, the last time I checked this guy was sitting pretty at under a pound. If you're itching for some 720p HD playback in a sweet Android package, this guy is a fair steal. [Amazon via Pocketables.net]

The old Archos 7's docking station costs more than this does, wonder how much this ones docking station costs?

Clearly a typo on Amazon's part Kieth.
# Product Dimensions: 8 x 4.2 x 0.5 inches ; 13.7 pounds
# Shipping Weight: 2 pounds
Since the Shipping Weight is 2LBS the product weight is probably supposed to be 1.37 LBS which leaves room for the weight of the supplied accessories.

Does this have access to Android Market?

I am almost certain this device wont have full access to market but what im going do is get and the apps i wanna use from droid just back them up with astro then install on this from sd card
I bought an ipad for comics and bigger screen then sold it and made 50 off it just wasn't worth it but this device for 200 is a lot better for casual media consumption
