T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition

Not a whole lot more to say about the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition (other than the official name is a mouthful) that we haven't already said. It went on sale today for $179.99 after two-year deal and whatnot. Anybody rush out and get one? [T-Mobile]

I really don't see the point of this phone if you can get the Nexus One for the same price.

I didn't, mainly due to the fact that it isn't for sale in my country, but I am intrigued by it. At the very least, it's aesthetically pleasing and comes with a 16GB microsd card. Additionally, I really enjoy my HT-03A (basically the MyTouch3G) and wouldn't be opposed to another, especially if it had a freaking headphone jack. Though I have to wonder, due to all the Android phones on the market, why did Clapton ultimately go with a phone that, though nice, is admittedly dated?

I agree. Pretty pointless. It was released too late.

I would love to get the Nexus one at the same price besides the fact that I can't use the darn thing with a family plan.

I got the first one in town. It's amazingly easy to use, fast and of course the Fender slant makes it really cool. Any detractors of this phone need to actually get on in their hands before ripping it a new one...

I got this, mostly cause the nexus one cost more. Even with a discount, it was still gonna be 250. So I went with this, and I love it. the only thing I don't like is that the existing cases for the mytouch don't work for the fender, as they cover the headphone jack. Once the mytouch 1.2 comes out in feb I'm sure they'll have something.

I got the Fender and I think it is a very good phone which comparable to Nexus One. Very light and easy to use. I tried the regular mytouch 3g but that one sucks big time. The Fender is a lot faster processor and easier to use. I highly recommend this phone if you are looking to have a good Android phone.
