Weekly Photo Contest: Time

Dozens of inventive takes on the concept of 'time' to appreciate this week

We've really been doing our best to keep up on the weekly photo contests, and this week we have another successful contest wrapped up. The prompt this week was "time," and we received several forum pages full of entries with lots of great photos for everyone to look at and appreciate.

We saw dozens of very interesting takes on the concept of time, and the results were great to look at. Stick around after the break where we're going to give away two Pebble smartwatches to the contest winners this week!

Winner of a Pebble smartwatch, framebyframes!

This isn't a picture of a clock, watch or sundial, but it surely represents the word "time." Be it a time to get together with friends or a good time spent having a beer, we think this fits the bill. We love the effect the overhead lighting provides, and the extra reflections from the glasses add a nice touch. Great picture.

Winner of a Pebble smartwatch, Ryan31124!

We're moving into Fall, and the easiest way to know the seasons are changing is to look at the falling leaves. This is a great shot that has those punchy fall colors in the leaves, but also has interesting depth with the water and reflections underneath. Not many people have the eye for a shot like that.

Keep an eye on your doorsteps and mailboxes for a package, it is already on its way.

Thanks again to everyone else who entered, and keep your eyes peeled for the next photo contest. We want the chance to give away more great prizes to everyone, so keep taking pictures and entering them!

These were hands down the winners. Well done you two.

Not going to lie, the beer one I had to reverse look up on Google images to make sure it wasn't a stolen wallpaper, it is that good.

Can an enhanced motion gif format G+ picture be uploaded (entered) as a photo contest entry?

Also, both chosen winner pics are positively awesome. Great selections, judges. Beautiful and relevant pics, Frame and Ryan.

What happened to being able to only win once? "Ryan31124" won a few weeks back during the "Sports" photo contest, or does the "one win" rule not apply to these contests?
