  • Oh man...get that iPhone off the Nexus...
  • Didn't listen to the stream I take it. derp
  • You don't have to listen to the stream to see that the picture of these phones has an iPhone on top of the NEXUS!
  • Dude, it's so small if it didn't go on top you wouldn't even see it!
  • A big point he made was about stupid fanboys derp
  • For real. It's freakung ugly.
  • Man! This Ben Bajarin talks up Apple so much. He also downplays Google's mobile strategy even over Microsoft's. He says that people are only loyal to certain Android manufacturers because of custom skins. Lol, WTF is this guy talking about? Some of the things he says are correct but some of his opinions are crazy.
  • He's talking about mainstream consumers, not us geeks. The perceptions are *really* different. I know people who buy Samsung and have no real idea or concern what it's running. (Frankly, humans shouldn't have to care about that kind of stuff anyway.)
  • The dumbed down and cliche stereotypes that the techs talk about don't even make sense half the time. Mainstream consumers actually do know they have an android phone and prefer Google's services. But if you want a warped and biased point of view, just listen to the Vector podcast. lol
  • But pick up a GS IV owned by a mainstream consumer and you'll probably find them using mostly the Samsung services that were made as alternatives (competition?) to the Google services. Many (most?) AC readers wouldn't ever consider using the Samsung services instead of the Google services. Posted via Android Central App on my Droid Maxx
  • If you listened to the podcast, you'd be getting a HUGE chuckle out of that comment. Well played!
  • I think that next year we will more cheaper mid ranged phones like the Moto G. I hope that other manufacturers like Samsung and HTC would try to sell their phones unlocked much like what Apple and Google are doing. I think we might even see more Chinese manufacturers making like Xiaomi, Coolpad and Lenovo making cell phones in EU and US.
  • I've noticed the Vector podcasts play differently in the AC app than the AC podcasts. Any chance that will change in the future? It's nice having playback controls in the notification shade. Posted via Android Central App on my Droid Maxx
  • I'll ask about it, thanks!
