The first photo of the retail box for the T-Mobile G2X, T-Mo's unskinned version of the LG Optimus 2X, has emerged. The image obtained by TmoNews shows a box similar to that of its keyboard-toting cousin, the G2 -- there's the standard picture of the phone on a patterned white background. This isn't really much to write home about, but the fact that retail packaging has started to leak suggests that a release probably isn't far off at this point. T-Mobile hasn't confirmed a release date yet, but rumors suggest the device may launch as soon as April 20.

Why doesn't T-Mobile take a page out of VZW's playbook and market this thing? Commercials and newspaper spreads would be worthwhile, no?
I wish Verizon would take a page out of T-Mobile's book and release a vanilla Android device.
Big ups to Cloud36426. Only reason I still have the OG Drizzy
I love that T-Mobile is continuing the "G" line. And keeping it stock android like the original G1. I'm lovng my G2 now, but wouldn't mind a full on screen phone and a slightly larger screen. It seems that highend phones with stock android get all the rooting glory. I love it.
after 4 blackberries this will be my next phone. i just wish tmobile would give us a release date (i know rumored April 20th but a confirmation would be nice). excited to join the android family!!
I will be bypassing the Sidekick for this phone. :-D
