Squarespace launches two new official apps for Android, one for notes and the other for your blog

Squarespace has just launched two new official apps for Android. Head into the Google Play Store and you'll now find Squarespace Note and Squarespace Blog. These two apps are instrumental in anyone wanting to manage their Squarespace site or blog from their Android device.

Squarespace is a content management system that consists of a website builder, blogging platform and hosting service. Users pay a monthly fee or yearly fee to host their sites with Squarespace and use tools provided by the company.

Squarespace Note

Squarespace Note is a free application that does not require a Squarespace account. It's a note taking application that connects to popular services like Squarespace, Evernote, Dropbox Google Drive and more to sync. Writers, bloggers and others can use to record ideas when inspiration strikes.

Here's what you get with Squarespace Note:

  • One of the quickest ways to jot down ideas and reminders on an Android device.
  • Sync your notes with e-mail, Squarespace, Evernote, Dropbox, and more.
  • The lightweight mobile app immediately loads a blank canvas when it's launched.
  • Unbranded, black and white feel lets you concentrate on content, not presentation.

Squarespace Blog

Squarespace Blog is the new app that actually ties into your Squarespace account. With it you gain the tools needed to write and edit posts and manage comments on multiple Squarespace websites.
