2K's official NBA game launched today on Android, but for the time being it's going to be exclusively available for Amazon devices. NBA 2K15 offers substantially improved graphics while playing on the basketball court, and a new MyCareer mode that has players work through a storyline by doing stuff like answering questions at press conferences and training their custom-made character. The soundtrack is curated by Pharrell Williams, which should keep gameplay moving nicely.

It looks like hardware controller support is in the mix here too which is great since Fire TV support is on the way, but it would be ideal if NBA 2K15 would be available on the Google Play Store for a wider range of devices. With any luck Amazon's exclusivity period won't be too long. NBA season officially starts on October 28, so maybe this is just a bit of a head start for Amazon.

If you're really into NBA, be sure to check out our top basketball apps for Android, though we'll definitely be updating that in time for the 28th. How many of you guys are using a Kindle device? Interested in snagging NBA 2K15?
