The Motorola Connect browser-based notification app has had a beefy update to include group text message notifications in your PC's Chrome window and MMS viewing. There's also better matching between contacts and phone numbers now, hence the new location permission. As always, you can read and reply to text messages from your computer's keyboard, so long as you have the Chrome extension installed and you're packing a Moto X, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, or Droid Mini.
