  • Awesome! Interstellar for 4 bucks is awesome Posted via the Android Central App
  • it show up as $3.09 for me. http://i.imgur.com/NFOVWdA.png?1
  • The $3.09 is for SD (standard definition), the HD version sells for $3.99
  • got it thanks for clearing
  • *US only
  • Very strange that for the exact same movie, in this test case Interstellar, the US version linked by AC shows up as not purchasable, but a manual search shows an entry for Interstellar, with a slightly different movie poster and a totally different collection of review / feedback. Same movie, same runtime. Very strange indeed.
  • That's why we love Google and Android Central! Full of Awesomeness. Buy price for me is a little cheaper at $3.09. Posted via Android Central App
  • That is the SD price..
  • all garbage.
  • You shouldn't talk about your mother that way. Shame on you.
  • Titles are showing as $3.09 each, not $3.99 each.
  • That's for SD Posted via the Android Central App
  • sigh.... CLICK the BUY button. You will see the prices. purchase price is $3.09 is for SD.... $3.99 is for HD...
  • The WORST part is if they looked at the picture in the article it says "from 3.09"... clueless.
  • Picked up 3, for that price why not. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Thanks! Just got 3 movies. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Folks.... CLICK the BUY button. You will see the prices. purchase price is $3.09 is for SD.... $3.99 is for HD...
  • Shame its America only again. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Yep. 3 movies... for 12 bucks.
  • Picked up Interstellar, Whiplash and last hobbit film. All solid movies. Need more for travel.
  • Damn I just rented whiplash like 2 nights ago! Posted via the Android Central App
  • In for Whiplash. Fantastic movie.
  • Love it, thanks! Everyone of those are movies I wanted to see but haven't purchased or rented yet.
  • I tried to buy Horrible bosses 2 and it shows priced at $3.09 for SD and $3.99 for HD, but as soon as I hit "Buy" the price changes to $19.99. Anyone else having this problem?
  • That's what happened to me. Now you can't buy them. I think Google knows there's a problem.
  • I just tried to buy horrible bosses 2 and got the same 19.99 instead of 3.99. Hopefully it gets fixed and stay 3.99.
  • Too expensive in the UK at £11.99 hd, but I am grateful to AC for notice of the Gravity freebie a while back. Posted by me with this thing.
  • I'm getting an error message BM-PPH-01 whenever I try to buy the movies. Any ideas? Posted via the Android Central App
  • I'm getting the same error, whether through my browser or the application.
  • Same. Hopefully they aren't changing prices on us.
  • I bought interstellar without any problems, but when i went to purchase the hobbit i got the same error.
  • It didn't work for both standard def and high def.
  • Getting the same thing. Google services have been flaky all morning for me. Hopefully, it will clear up soon.
  • The Best of Me https://www.androidcentral.com/e?link=https2F2F...
  • I bought Interstellar and at the last screen it wanted full price instead of the sale price. I didn't notice. :-( Now you can't buy them, there's an error. Watch out guys.
  • Same thing with me. Switched to full price. Looks like we missed it!
  • I don't think we missed it. I think there was an error.
  • I keep getting error messages.
  • Can't buy anything, as I keep getting error messages. :/.
  • I get an error every time I try to buy Interstellar. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Well I got the error trying to buy The Hobbit on my phone so I pulled out my tablet and now the price is back to normal for purchase. :-/
Short lived error......and someone's getting fired.....
  • Looks like only the rentals are discounted to $3.09 & $3.99 now. All the "Buy" options are showing at full price.
  • Well, that came and went just as fast.
  • I think it was an error. I was able to buy one of them at $3.99 for HD and then I got errors when trying to buy a few others. Now they have corrected them all to show the full price for purchase and the discount for rental.
  • The movies were on sale when I bought some of them an hour ago bit they aren't on sale anymore. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Only seeing discounted rentals, not purchase prices. Posted via Android Central App
  • Error retrieving information from server.... Posted via the Android Central App
  • I think there was some mistake on Google's part. The process have returned to normal but renting is discounted. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Yes, renting is discounted only, not purchasing.
  • Now I get a "not available in your country" for interstellar :( Posted via the Android Central App
  • It says Interstellar isn't available in my country...I live in the US.... Posted via the Android Central App
  • They "fixed" it. I was too slow on the trigger. Can anyone report if their purchases are being reversed?
  • My order of Hunger Games has not yet been reversed. I got it right before they caught the error because right after i tried to buy Interstellar and it would not go through.
  • I just fired up Interstellar and it hasn't been reversed. Balance in my Play credits is still the same post-discount
  • I was lucky enough to get Interstellar. Just went back to get Mockingjay and that was off the table as well. It looks like they accidentally changed the Buy price instead of the Rent price because the current HD rent price is what I paid to buy it.
  • Still have my copy of Hunger Games with the receipt. ☺ Posted via the Android Central App
  • Price mistakes, not an official sale. Posted via the Android Central App on N7 '13
  • Wow that's cheap. I'm getting hobbit for sure to complete my digital lotr collection
  • upset as I went to lunch before i hit the buy on the Hobbit. At least I got Interstellar. I know what i'm streaming on Chromecast tonight.. that said... Who else loves Chromecast??? What else can you buy for $25 over black friday, and so far I've probably gotten $40 in credits, and 2 free movies. Couple that with google surveys feeding me cash, and i'm a happy camper.
  • apparently interstellar is not available in my country, USA
  • the article says to BUY for 3.99. Only option I have is to rent for that price?!?!
  • Someone screwed up and put the rent price as the buy price. Those of us who got it quickly got lucky. It's fixed now... Sorry man!
  • Rent options I see are 3.09 sd/& 3.99 he. But prices are 14.99 sd/& 19.99 hd. I'm in the US and it's 3:10 pm est. Posted via Android Central App from Samsung Note 3 or Surface Pro 3
  • They are already gone. I already saw the ones I wanted from those pics. You aren't missing nothing. Posted via the Sailfish iMore app
  • Damn I would of liked to of picked up Instellar. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Wow so apprently this was a mistake well i picked up like 4 of the movies because they were so cheap i got lucky :)
  • Having watched Interstellar, it wasn't even worth that.
  • I gave the movie a negative review due to the woo woo and soppy ending but it's worth it just for the HD blackhole and wormhole visuals.
  • It was a good movie before the black whole. Then it just sucked.
  • Only available for rent. I'm thinking they fixed it. Via Nexus 6: "Takin updates for granted."
