The Galaxy S20 FE has a ton of impressive specs given its affordable price tag. It's powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor, has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and three rear cameras for taking great photos. With a retail cost of just $700, it's all great stuff.
One of the other highlight specs is the 4,500 mAh battery, which on paper, should allow for excellent endurance. In real-world use, though, does it deliver the goods?
A few of our AC forum members recently started talking about this very subject, sharing their S20 FE battery impressions as follows:
What about you? How has your Galaxy S20 FE battery life been?
I've had insanely good battery life on mine, a full charge is estimating about 1 day, 12 hours. And I'm on my phone *a lot* throughout the day - easily 5 hours SOT. Significantly better than my Pixel 4 XL ever ways, and probably the first phone in a while I'd trust to actually last me through a full day of moderate-heavy use.
Average of 3 days 8 hrs between charges so far. Usually plug in when the battery level gets down to the low 20's. That said i have my screen brightness just barely above half. That is more than enough for me. Used for some gaming, texting, Whats app, heavy email usage all day and night for work, Skype and Teams set to active as much as possible. Let's see how it holds up in the long term. I have only had it for a week and a half now but so far I'm a happy camper.
I've just come over to the S20 FE from an S10, and my S10 had WAY better battery life. Very disappointed. I've been searching all over the web to find ways to change my settings; I can't get through the day without having to re-charge. This has never happened to me before, never! So...I'm not sure if I made a wise switch...
