Normally the offer is off the table the instant you walk out the door with your new phone, but for the month of June any customer on Sprint will be able walk back in that door of no return and purchase insurance for their device. The offer doesn't change the price or service at all — it's still $11-a-month for the Ausurion-provided loss/theft/damage replacement, or $13/month for Total Equipment Protection Plus which adds in data protection as well. Prepaid customers on Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile can get coverage for $8 each month.

Automatic for Android hits 1.0 - Adds Crash Alert and Do Not Disturb

Automatic

Automatic

The Automatic app for Android has only been available in Google Play for a few weeks, even so, has still been a beta release for the most part. Today, Automatic for Android officially hits version 1.0 and adds two new awesome features in the process — Crash Alert and Do Not Disturb.

Do Not Disturb is an Android exclusive and won't be found on the iOS version. The DnD feature allows you to silence your phone completely when driving, preventing it from distracting you while you're on the road. It even goes so far as to send a text message if anyone calls you, letting them know that you're driving. When you're stopped, you still have full access to the phone as well.

Google Wallet can do some pretty cool things, like store your loyalty cards — and we're here to go through the process with you

ACU — Google WalletImagine you're at the store — one of those stores that gives you some kind of financial incentive to carry around a loyalty card. But, in your frantic rush out the door, you forgot that little piece of plastic. Sure, maybe you could enter your phone number to get the same rewards or discount, or you could just pull out your phone. For many of us, the latter may be the cooler and/or more convenient option.

Since Sept. 2013, Google Wallet has allowed you to do just that. You can store loyalty card information in the app.

You may be wondering, "How do I get started?" Good news: it's really not all that complicated. And we're here to walk you through it. You'll be able to leave those plastic loyalty cards at home in no time.
