The unrevoked team has announced that version 3.2 is now available for download, and support for Froyo has been added. This brings the list of devices supported by the flashing tool to:
- Sprint EVO 4G (HTC Supersonic)
- Droid Incredible (HTC Incredible)
- HTC Desire GSM
- HTC Desire CDMA (HTC BravoC)
- HTC Aria
- Droid Eris (HTC DesireC)
- HTC Wildfire (HTC Buzz)
In addition, users of the Sprint Evo 4G, Droid Incredible, and the CDMA Desire (US Cellular version) can now unlock their NAND and root using the tool. People using other modern HTC devices not listed above are encouraged to contact the unrevoked team. Be sure to read the directions carefully, and happy hacking! [unrevoked] Thanks Mike for the tip!
Update: The unlock tool has been temporarily pulled. Says the Unrevoked team: "We're seeing some strange problems with Unrevoked 3.2, so we've pulled the release for a bit. Please hold on! Don't worry if you've already run 3.2 - you are rooted and everything is OK. It's just a problem for users while running it."

Whoa! Such a tool for the Samsung Galaxy S devices would be awesome.
Is your version the vibrant? If so download one click lag fix from the market. You can have easy root too.
the question is... do I flash back to the original radio and install the OTA than use this, or do I just stay on froyo and say to hell with it...
is this the root that runs as an application and doesn't change anything other then the fact that you can just download root apps?

It works! I did it. Did not work on a vista PC, but worked fine on XP.
EDIT: I did it on my DInc before the pull.
EDIT2: You need to follow the directions. Install the Windows drivers, if you're on Windows. I had issues on Vista, Would not load the flash. Worked like a champ on XP. Full Root on the update.zip non rooted, Stock install.
Would this work with a European (WCDMA) 2.2 Desire? 'Cause that's what I've got, and I'd quite like to give it a bit of an overclock. :)
No Galaxy S support... that would be nice lol. Still very nice to have, looking forward to future updates.
What are the features of 3.2? Is it only the "rooting's" new feature?
Have the drivers installed and my root apps on my homescreen. Just waiting on them to get it back up. My old hero is rooted. About time my EVO get in on that action!

any one know what this actually does (or did). I cant find any literature anywhere on how this method works... Point me in the right direction please.

Does Unrevoked work on Windows 7? I heard chatter about it not working on Vista.
Unrevoked worked on my windows 7 computer so you should be fine.
I hope they put this back up! And like SOON!
