X10 Gingerbread

Unlikely as it may have seemed just a few months ago, the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update for Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 is now live, and can be obtained from the Sony Ericsson PC companion app, assuming you're rocking an unbranded X10. In addition to (nearly) the latest version of Android for smartphones, X10 owners will get SE's new "Facebook Inside Xperia" integration, Wifi and USB tethering, a re-vamped music app and photo widget and custom sorting in the app drawer.

For more info, and a download link for the PC Companion, head on over to the source link and click on the X10.

Why was that gingerbread man holding a Bandaid?

Oh, wait...

Nope, upon further reading, bandaid was perfectly apt.

For a device that got a lot of bad (deservedly so) PR when it launched with 1.6 in a 2.1 world Sony has done a good job at redeeming itself with this device by bringing it up to date.

Too little too late.... When this thing was Announced with 1.6 my jaw literally dropped lol... I couldn't believe it... Ericcson is getting back on track though

NO , i have an unbranded experia x10 and the ginger bread update is not yet live and still not available as this website states, but could be available soon and i have tryed all update methods , end of.
