If you're just dying to get your hands on the Motorola Backflip (speaking of hands-ons, check out ours with the phone), tickets to China are running about $800 right now. 'Cause that's where you're going to have to go to pick up what's being billed as the ME600 on Motorola China's Web site. It's going for about $629 US and comes with a car charger and 8GB storage card.
As for a U.S. debut? We're still hearing march, so hold tight, everybody. [Moto China via Unwired View]

As a happy Droid owner I'll admit that I haven't paid much attention to the backflip, but I notice that in the photo the backflip seems to have a built in media mode with the back flipped part way open. This may have been observed already in other discussions, but I think it's pretty cool.
Its phones like this that make me sad that I left Tmobile...If only they had better service in my area. They have the coolest phones.
mmh $630 seems to much considering the DROID costs a lot less even if it is subst.
Well, that phone is pretty cool.
I really like the idea of backflip keyboard.
But the phone spec is the same as Cliq, and not Droid. So I think that's rather expensive.
