The LG G Vista has been making its rounds for a while now through several leaks but the device more commonly likened to the 'G3 lite' looks as though it might finally be released. As expected from the previous leaks, it's headed to Verizon with a reported street date of July 31st. As far as specs go, the leaks weren't too far off the mark really.

The LG G Vista has ended up with a 5.7-inch HD display (1280×720, 258ppi), 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 3,200mAh battery (removable), 8MP rear camera with laser auto focus, 8GB internal storage, micro SD card support, 1.5GB RAM, and Android 4.4.

The G3 similar device is also noted to be arriving with an off-contract price of $499 or $99 with new 2-year agreement. We'll have to wait and see if that date for release is correct of course but in the meantime, feel free to let us know how you feel about the LG G Vista.

So beautiful.
Save money when buying for the know it all wife.
It's bigger so she'll think it's better.

Yes I have one of those types. Buys the better phone, but doesn't know how to use it.

Terrible screen resolution on a 5.7 inch screen, much slower processor than the g3, less ram, and much lower quality camera. The question is in what way is this like a g3 really? I would take a g2 at $49 over this at $99 any day.

This is meant to compete with the Galaxy mega it's not meant to be a flagship phone

Everything downgraded from the screen resolution, camera, RAM, processor, packed on a bigger screen 5.7 versus 5.5 of the real G3.

G3 vs. Vista
5.5" vs. 5.7"
QHD 2K vs. HD 720P
3GB RAM vs. 1.5 GB RAM
Snapdragon 801 vs. snapdragon 400
32GB ROM vs. 8 GB ROM
3000 mAh vs. 3200 mAh battery size

Vista better be free on contract if the G3 is only $99 lol
The only good thing on the Vista is that battery is 200 mAh more.

The pricing is what was stated in the article, the wording is strange: "The G3 *like* device is said to be $499 off contract and $99 with a two year agreement."

I checked it out at my local verizon store,it's actually $399 off contract, fairly nice phone for the money and no lags that I can see it zips along quite nicely,it's not the quade had screen of the G3 but it is a nice screen.

+1 Obviously there was a large production batch that were lemons, but I have a fully functioning and damn good performing G3. This device is amazing, so glad I JUMPed from a Note3

You'd think for $500 they could use a little bit better processor. SD 400 is used mostly in sub-$200 phones. They should have used the SD 600 processor. They would have certainly been able to make money still.

Also, for me that screen is far too large and low res. I like 1280×720 on my Moto X, but this phone is a full inch larger.

For those whom the huge screen trumps every other spec. I mean it's not brutal (especially that battery) but....
