IFA

The days news in handy list form because everyone loves lists

IFA 2014 The first day on the ground at IFA (and New York) is now done, and there was literally a deluge of news and product announcements. That's exactly why we love it, and likely what everyone was hoping for from the event. ASUS, Samsung and Sony all held their press events, bringing everything from watches to VR headsets — as well as a phone or two. We expect more of the same in the coming days, so stick around for everything you want to know about what's going on in Berlin.

In the meantime, with this much good news, it's hard to find it all. That's where we can help. Here's a roundup of all of the days news and events, in one handy spot. I know I'll be reading it again!

ASUS

Samsung

Sony

Editors note: This was just the first day! Prepare for more of the same tomorrow.

They put out a schedule the other day of where, when and who is going to be covering things. I am not being "THat guy" but I don't feel like looking it up. If you search the site for IFA schedule I am sure you will find it. I think 6PM either in the morning or the next day.

I'm not being "that guy" but searching for IFA schedule won't help since Moto is doing their own event and not doing the announcement at IFA.

Ok, maybe I am being "that guy"

Too much Samsung coverage... hopefully tomorrow other vendors take their place.

With Motorola bro. I definitely should have specified that. Really hope the X+1 is a badass phone. Might be the next phone I get.

You guys really tore it up today !!! Reported excellently on all things IFA....ofcourse, samsung kicked some serious ass with the note 4, but that was to be expected. The note 4 is the device that other devices have inferiority complexes over.....lolol

Nice event coverage, but it wasn't "literally a deluge." Perhaps it was a figurative deluge, but a simple "deluge" is really all you need.

Signed, a literal hater of the overuse and misuse of the word literally, especially by people who are paid to write. (Sorry, I'm grouchy tonight.)
