Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is available practically everywhere now, and from the major carriers in the U.S., but is also now making its way to prepaid carrier Ting. You'll be getting the same phone that's available everywhere else — this model's obviously similar to the Sprint one as Ting runs on that network — but with a bit lower bill than your standard postpaid carrier.

Ting is offering the Galaxy S5 for $597 without a contract, and only has the black model in stock right now. Unfortunately you'll have to wait a little while — the website says orders today will ship by May 5th. If you're a Ting customer or have been waiting for the Galaxy S5 to make the jump on over, you can snag one at the source link below.

Galaxy S5 now available from Ting for $597

You're correct. Although I found VIRGIN MOBILE's customer service to be rather excellent ( Yes, excellent!), their SPRINT towers were just awful...My friend who actually had SPRINT service also hated the terrible SPRINT connectivity. We are in San Francisco, which has excellent T-MOBILE connectivity...

Better to buy a S5 GSM Unlocked Version EVEN if it costs more because then you can choose from a plethora of AT&T MVNOs and T-MOBILE MVNOs... You will save a stack of cash by using your S5 GSM unlocked version on those Prepaid carriers...And SPRINT & their SPRINT affiliated MVNOs have terrible connectivity...

If you don't mind putting up with the world of prepay, not everybody wants to. Saying money is not the only metric.
