Cricket Groove

Cricket Wireless this morning announced the "Groove from Cricket," part of the carrier's Muve Music series. The ZTE-manufactured phone, which will be available Nov. 21 for $129 (though it's currently being promoted online at $79), sports a 3.5-inch HVGA display, runs Android 2.3.6 and has a 1500 mAh battery, with a 3.2MP camera out back and a 0.3MP shooter in the front.

Anyway, I'm hoping as Cricket expands their LTE coverage, they start to get better phones.

Considering there's no CONTRACT COMMITMENT, this isn't bad.
Heck, if you wanted to buy your kid one of these, or better yet, let them WORK for it and appreciate the value of working for their stuff, this isn't a bad deal at all.
NO, it's not the latest and greatest. It's also not $500 bucks either.
