You can now use Google Opinion Rewards to score Play Store credit in India, Singapore, and Turkey

Google Opinion Rewards (opens in new tab) is now live in India, Singapore, and Turkey, allowing customers from these markets to participate in surveys to get Play Store credit.

In the U.S., customers get up to $1 in credit for a survey, and in India the payout starts from ₹10. That's what I received for the survey I completed, but the figure should change based on the survey.

The launch is a win-win as it gives customers the ability to pay for digital content they normally wouldn't (piracy is rampant in India). The platform is cost-effective for advertisers as well, and gives them valuable feedback from millions of users from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

Eager to get started? Download the app from the Play Store (opens in new tab), select your Google account, and answer a few basic questions about yourself.

Let us know how you're liking Google Opinion Rewards in the comments.

  • Thanks Harish, for the heads up. Waiting forever for this!
  • No problem dude. I've been waiting for it for some time too.
  • Is it me or have some ppl been using it for quite sometime already? I have around 35rupees in credit and have been using it for more than a month now.
  • I advise anyone who doesn't use this to do so. I've gotten alot of free apps this way.
  • Not out in Singapore yet
  • I used to get surveys at least 3-5 times a week....but for some reason, I haven't received one in months. Not sure what's up with that.
  • I find the more (different) places I go the more surveys I receive.
  • When I first signed up, it was nailing all the places I'd been visiting, but now, when it does ask me that question, more often that not, I've not been to any of the places on the list.
  • Just FYI, for anyone just signing up, know this. Many surveys lead off with a trick question to see if you're being honest. They'll ask if you're using this or that service, subscribing to this or that magazine, etc. Thing is, these brands are completely fake. The intent is to see if you'll lie just to get in on a survey. Be honest, and you'll then go to the actual survey questions.
  • i was wait for it madly
  • We need it in Venezuela more than any other country, here we've got a crippling currency exchange control system that doesn't allow anyone to pay for anything from any foreign country in any foreign currency -even having the money!.. Google should know this and try to help us to get some apps at least, please try to spread the word!
