Stylish protection for your Nexus 6
The Nexus 6 is a big beautiful phone. Chances are you'll want to keep it beautiful and free from dings and scratches with the right case, and I think we've found the right case with the Seidio DILEX Pro. It's easy to put on and take off, allows for full use of all the features, and the soft-touch finish (in multiple colors) looks and feels great in your hands.
Have a read and see if the Seidio DILEX Pro is the right case for you, too.
The DILEX Pro is the right mix of a basic case with a few features to set it apart from the more generic offerings you can find at Amazon. As soon as you pick it up you'll notice the soft-touch material, and you'll like it. It's plastic, but it's that type of plastic that feels like soft rubber because of the coating. It instantly improves your grip on the Nexus 6, and color choices like red or gold give your Nexus 6 a new look. I'm especially fond of the royal blue version I'm using in this review.
The next thing you'll notice is the metal kickstand built into the rear of the case. A big phone screams for a kickstand, and it's done well on the DILEX Pro. The kickstand is solid, and once you prop up your 6-inch screen to watch a video you'll never want to go back to life without one. It's easy to open and is secured with a magnet so it won't accidentally flop open when you don't want it to.
The DILEX Pro doesn't have any extra industrial strength rubber on the outside, but you'll find it protects your Nexus 6 from "normal" use just fine, and still allows for easy operation of all the features your phone came with. The cutouts for the camera and ports are generous and precision cut, and have a spiffy black trim at each opening. The power and volume controls are made of a separate piece of soft and flexible rubber for easy use, and this has the benefit of a different texture so you can operate them by feel. Everything is done really well here.
I'm also using the DILEX Pro with the optional holster, and while I don't normally carry my phone on my belt, it seems very secure and is comfortable enough that I barely notice it and have no complaints.
If you're looking for a great case that does its job without adding unnecessary bulk, the DILEX Pro is a solid option — it's the case I would recommend to anyone looking.
