Samsung asks 'Do you Note?' in latest Galaxy Note 4 adverts

Samsung is continuing its aggressive marketing of the Galaxy Note 4 with two new commercials. The manufacturer talked about the new S-Pen and the camera in earlier videos, and this time around it is highlighting features like Smart Select.

Smart Select allows you to select text and images from any app and save it to your device, so that you can use it for reference later. That's not all Samsung is highlighting though, as the manufacturer is also touting the benefits of Multi Window mode. The feature lets you run two apps simultaneously, as shown below:

And finally, there's Photo Note:

The videos are humorous, and well worth a watch. Do you think Samsung is succeeding in highlighting the features of the Galaxy Note 4 with these commercials?

  • Nope I don't Note anymore Posted via Android Central App on my HTC M8
  • Yes I Note and have been Noting since August 2011. It's always been pretty much plain and simple for me nobody beats SAMSUNG or the Galaxy Note products period. They are android at the end of the day nothing else matters period.
  • I note and use multiwindow and floating apps... on my Xperia Z Ultra C6833 with GPe ROM. Yes, those features are available for other devices too.;)
  • Available if your root for multi windows. If I'm not mistaken the Z2 doesn't multi window the way the Note 4. Been awhile since I used because of the cracked screen. However, I think the float apps and 5 multi windows is better on the Note 4 than my Z2 out the box. Posted via the Android Central App
  • The floating apps I use are these and they are excellent: The multiwindow/split window feature I use are a combination of Xposed Framework XMultiWindow, XHalo and MultiWindowSidebar. It looks like this on my device: What I device can do "out of the box" has never meant anything to me since I always root within the hour and use unlocked, unbranded products. Good features are always ported to other devices and multiwindow and floating apps are two excellent solutions that can be used on any device. Sony has a version of floating apps called SmallApps, which is partly like the Floating Apps I linked but a bit more limited and restricted since it only works with Sony framework; it means stock based ROMs only. I would never buy a device because of some extra feature a manufacturer added to Android since my principle is to have a clean ROM and then add what I want.

  • That's your opinion. And yes I know about the floating apps. I have a z2. The point I'm making is any phone can do anything rooted and ROMd. Your point is slightly irrelevant because you had to modify your phone to do what Samsung has done since the Note 1. I'm not disregarding it can do it, but the masses do not root. And this is an out the box feature Note has always had and have a right to advert it as its nature feature. Posted via the Android Central App
  • It is highly relevant to point out that multiwindow and floating apps can be used on other devices as well since the TouchWiz isn't for everybody... The Note start to shine first when a new ROM like MultiX is flashed and DPI is lowered to 240-320 with phablet mode enabled. Posted from my Xperia Z Ultra C6833 octaband LTE via Android Central App
  • Wtf??? The above comment ^^^ is not mine.......Idk how the hell that comment got attached to my profile but.......weird. has anyone else had this issue before on here??
  • It is very strange, I posted the comment from the Android Central app and double checked and it shows me properly signed in as "E90 Commie". It seems like it somehow confuses different users. I guess it is time for the team to check what is happening.
  • Testing a reply from the app again. Signed out and then in again. Posted from my Xperia Z Ultra C6833 octaband LTE via Android Central App Edit: This comment came through properly. It seems like the app works and that the problem is with the comments itself.
  • This is interesting. How do you do it?
EDIT: it seems you've written it and I can't delete the comment... :(
  • This one's good too Posted via the Android Central App
  • Aaargh! Lidl unfortunately got inspired by that campaign in their Christmas campaign over here, because some wiseguy realised Lidl rimes a little with a few words, too.
  • I love the note 4 with the SPen. Goes hand and hand with the Gear S perfectly. Quite impressed with the quality. Posted via the Android Central App
  • On my Note 2, still a decent phone. I'm the kind of guy that stops a microwave at 1 second to feel like a bomb defuser.

  • Maybe the guy that attempted to build the swinging bench just should have used his Note 4 to go on its web browser to HomeAdvisor & find a handyman to build it for him..... I will say I do like Samsung's commercials. Posted via a beautiful Ebony backed Moto X on Verizon or the amazing Nexus 10 using the Android Central App
  • So what I get from this; The note 4 may look amazing, but in reality it will just fall apart and not be all it looks to be?
  • Note perfect! But comes close lol. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Okay, the first and last ones were funny. There's only one fatal flaw, the water plop touch noises !! It's time for it to go had a good run

  • It may just be me, but I like it when Sammy's ads are funny/clever without comparing their products to the competition. Just seems classier to me.
  • Great commercials. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Wait, what?! Samsung making commercials where they don't constantly compare themselves to Apple products?
  • Yes, I do Note.
  • Do you even Note bro?
  • Where is this photo note at and how do i use it?
  • Ok i found it. There is an snote widget you have to use. Pretty cool feature.

  • Hey fellow ACer's! Since we're talkin' Notes here, I just thought I'd ask. Last night while I was Noting, my Air Command feature stopped working for about an hr. or two. Air Command would launch when I initially removed the S Pen, but after that, I'm holding the button down & hovering/touching the screen & maybe after 15 + attempts, Air Command would finally come up. Other times, when it would finally launch, it would launch the S Memo even though I have it set to launch the Air Command. Checked settings, restarted phone & pulled battery (rlly don't want to do Master Reset if I can help it.) Today it's working better but intermittent. Has anyone else had any issues with the Air Command features? By the way, know it's not the S-PEN because I have 2 & was the same with both.
