More update goodness for the NVIDIA Shield Tablet is inbound

NVIDIA is sending out another update for the Shield Tablet today. This time around, you can expect some bug fixing, and some enhancements to network software and the Shield Hub software. The official changelog is below.

This update contains important enhancements and bug fixes, including:

  • Enhanced SHIELD Hub Features
  • Network Test capability
  • User Customizable 'My Android Games' and 'My Media Apps'
  • Share 'News' items, swipe between articles
  • Improved Touch Performance
  • Misc. Stability and Localization Improvements

This sounds like a welcome update, and we'll let everyone know if we see anything good or bad after we've played with it for a while.

  • Ah, good. I've had a couple issues with touch sensitivity around the corners lately. Nothing that's affected my use all that much, but it'll be interesting to see if the update fixes it.
  • Still debating if I should pick one up.
  • It is a good tablet, but I'm going to sell mine. I need an active stylus :(
  • What didn't you like about the stylus? I actually prefer this to the s-pen, even with a Wacom Bamboo feel. It works great for me in Layerpaint HD and Artflow. Just curious, because I wouldn't trade mine for anything, except maybe a Wacom Companion.
