Urbane LTE

The LTE capable smartwatch is the first wearable in its class that supports the fast transfer of data supported by LTE. Since the watch sports its own SIM card, the wearer is actually able to place and receive calls through the watch directly, without being tethered to a smartphone.

If you somehow missed the LG Watch Urbane announcements back at MWC 2015, we strongly urge you to check out our coverage. As well as the initial price of the watch, a contract is also available for KRW 10,000 ($9) a month, which includes 50 minutes, 250 SMS and 250MB of data.

To serve as a quick reminder of the specifications included in the LG Watch Urbane LTE, purchases will be looking at a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, circular 1.3 inches plastic OLED display, 1GB LPDDR3, 4GB eMMC internal storage, 9-axis (gyro / acceleration / compass), barometric pressure sensor, heart rate sensor, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, 700mAh battery and comes in silver.

There's no word on when the watch will hit markets outside South Korea, but we do know AT&T expect to stock the wearable in the US and LG is bringing the watch to India next month.
