How to take a screenshot with the OnePlus 2

If you're moving from the OnePlus One to the OnePlus 2, or this shiny new heavy hitter is your first OnePlus phone, there's a good chance OxygenOS is a new experience for you. That means not every button is in the exact same place, which can be frustrating when you need to quickly screenshot something to share with a friend or to report a bug in something.

With that in mind, here's a quick rundown on the ways you can take a screenshot on the OnePlus 2.

Taking a screenshot with the OnePlus 2

Method one — Volume down and power

This first method works on just about everything, including the OnePlus 2. Hold volume down and power buttons at the same time, and you'll see the screen flicker and notification appear in your tray to confirm the image was captured.

Because the volume down and power buttons are right next to each other on the OnePlus 2 you can probably do this with a single finger, which is kinda cool.

Method two — Power menu screenshot

If holding down volume and power isn't for you, the screenshot function baked into the power menu will do the trick. Hold down the power button, and underneath power off and reboot you'll find the screenshot button. Tapping this causes the screen flicker and notification in your tray, letting you know the screenshot is now sitting in your Gallery.

It's not really all that different from the first method, but the option is there if you need it.
