Gameloft's Xperia Play launch titles -- a montage [video]

If you're into watching little chubby fingers play mobile video games, this video is for you, folks. Mobile games publisher, Gameloft, has posted a new compilation trailer on their YouTube account. The montage includes ten HD games for the Xperia Play. Now, we're not quite sure if these titles we'll be the more "complex games" the Sony Ericsson exec was talking about, but all we know is that they will be availabe at launch. Not a bad line-up. Chubby fingers aside, it's still pretty cool to see shooters being played with the dual touch pads -- making shooters on the go that much better. [YouTube via Twitter]

Here is a list of titles in the montage:

  1. Spider-Man: Total Mayhem
  2. Uno HD
  3. Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles
  4. Real Football 2011
  5. Star Battalion
  6. Splinter Cell: Conviction
  7. Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus
  8. Let's Golf! 2
  9. Brother's In Arms 2: Global Front
  10. Asphalt 6: Adrenaline

  • I just installed Splinter Cell : Conviction in my iPod (384 mb damn , thats allot of space in the Xperia Play's 512 mb)
If they managed to Get Grand Theft Auto for it , I might cancel my plans to get the Atrix (or the if there's a GSM version of Droid X 2)
  • a small file installs on the internal memory. a large portion is downloaded to the SD card. that's how alot of bigger games are, to save the internal Wich is never very much after the is is put on the phone
  • Thanks for the clearing that out , I didn't install big games on my Milestone (only Angry Birds & Fruit Ninja , but removed them due to the lack of space)
  • it doesnt have 512 mb of memory, it has 512 mb ram. it only has 400 mb memory storage with only 380 mb available to the user. will definitly need the sd card . they better get more apps to install to sdcard. alot still dont, especialy some of the smaller games of 20 to 30 mb total size. i have 1gb memory on my epic and im almost out of room with moving as many apps as possible to the sdcard.
  • Yea , I thought so
Is it hard to stiff larger internal card ????
like the 8GB on the Droid X (thats one thin phone) or 16GB like the Atrix , or at least 2GB like the Defy
