Yesterday, August 3, was an exciting one in the Android space. After months and months of delays, Google finally unveiled the Pixel 4a and made the phone available for pre-order and there are even some Pixel 4a deals already.
The Pixel 4a already stands out as one of the best values the smartphone market has to offer, featuring an AMOLED display, excellent camera, good performance, and top-notch software for just $349. It's quite the value proposition if we've ever heard one, and it's something that seems to be resonating with a few of our AC forum members.
Some of them recently shared that they're already jumped aboard the Pixel 4a bandwagon, saying:
What about you? Did you pre-order the Pixel 4a?
Google's latest phone packs a ton of value
The road to the Pixel 4a was a long and bumpy one, but now that the phone is finally here, we think it was well worth the wait. You get a very good display, performance, and battery life, with that price tag making the 4a accessible to just about anyone. Throw in the unmatched camera performance and three years of guaranteed updates, and you're in for a treat.

I'm very happy with my 3a XL and won't be getting rid of it anytime soon.
Agreed! I was trying to wait for the 4a but when they said October release, I got the 3a XL and a week before the surprised canceling of the 3a line. Only thing the 4a has that I wanted was 128 GB storage but I use the cloud well. I'm gonna ride mine out and wait till next year to see what comes after the Pixel 5.
I'm going to stay with the Pixel 3. It's such a good phone and the only thing I envy is the battery life benefits of the A series. My battery isn't even that bad but in a normal day it's going into battery saver by 6 or 7pm and that could be better.
No. I would have in April or May but now I'll just hang onto my Pixel 2. That is too much of a delay for a midrange phone.
Nope. The battery life on my Moto G Power is 3 days with med-heavy use.... I'm not trading that for anything.
No I'm waiting for the 5G version or the Pixel 5 to see what I should do with my 3a XL
Yes! I have a Pixel 3 and love it but I like the bigger screen, battery life, 6gb ram, better camera and 5.8 screen in a small package.
Yep, as soon as it hit their website.
